Question 1 reduces congestion and builds safer streets. Goodyear is in the top 10 fastest growing cities in the nation. We need these investments in streets, public safety, and parks to ensure that the city can continue to offer excellent amenities to our community in the future.
Question 2 asks voters to invest $80 million to build fire resource management facilities, public safety training facilities, purchase vehicles, communications, and lifesaving equipment. This funding helps increase our public safety capabilities and help keep response times low.
Question 3 keeps Goodyear family-friendly. Quality services help protect your property values and play a key role in our ability to attract residents and businesses. These bonds are critical investments in maintain our quality of life and our long-term economic growth.
This program is designed to make these critical investments while maintaining the overall property tax rate equal to the current rate – no increase. With continued growth and paying off existing debt, Goodyear is committed to protecting the taxpayers and keeping our community as affordable as possible.
