Question 1 asks voters to invest $135 million to address city streets, transportation, traffic flow and safety by widening streets, upgrading the traffic control system and underground utilities, installing new street lights and shared-use paths for cyclists as well as fund traffic safety and intersection improvements to reduce congestion and improve driver and pedestrian safety .
These improvements would be citywide and specific projects along with a timeline will be determined based on the city’s Transportation Master Plan, which is in the process of being updated and prioritizes street and transportation projects.
