Question 3 addresses city parks and trails by extending the Bullard Wash Trail system. The pedestrian and bicycle path currently ends at McDowell Road and 150th Avenue. The extension would continue it south to connect to Goodyear Ballpark.
This proposal asks voters to invest $17 million in parks including bike and pedestrian paths, trails, and recreational facilities. We need this bond to continue to build our outstanding recreation and parks system that has made Goodyear an excellent place to live, work, and play.
The Bullard Wash Corridor is positioned to become a landmark destination for
multimodal connectivity providing key linkages throughout the city and beyond.
The Bullard Wash pathway provides user, social, and economic benefits through health and wellness, community connectivity, and business access.
